Transfer Custom Objects Between Nitro PDF Pro Installations

You can transfer custom objects and personal settings from one Nitro PDF Pro installation to another. These items include:

  • Headers

  • Footers

  • JavaScript snippets

  • Stamps

  • Watermarks

  • Backgrounds

  • QuickSigns

  • Scan profiles

Automatically transfer user data

When you upgrade Nitro PDF Pro to a newer version on the same computer, Nitro PDF Pro automatically transfers custom objects and personal settings during the installation.

Manually transfer user data

If you move to a new computer or a different Nitro PDF Pro installation, manually copy the user data.

1. Open File Explorer

2. In the address bar, enter the appropriate storage path:

For Nitro PDF Pro V26:

%AppData%NitroProCV

For Nitro PDF Pro V14:

%AppData%NitroPDF Pro14

3. Locate the folders that contain the custom objects or personal settings

4. Select the folders that you want to transfer

5. Right-click the selected folders

6. Select Copy

Note: QuickSign profiles are stored in the following subdirectory: StampsRibbon

7. On the new computer or Nitro PDF Pro installation, open the corresponding storage folder:

For Nitro PDF Pro V26:

%AppData%NitroProCV

For Nitro PDF Pro V14:

%AppData%NitroPDF Pro14

8. Right-click inside the folder

9. Select Paste

Note: If you transfer the data to a different Nitro PDF Pro version, the destination path can differ.

10. Restart Nitro PDF Pro

The transferred custom objects and personal settings now appear in the new installation.
