Resize and Crop Images in a PDF

The image editing tools let you resize an image proportionally, or you can adjust just the height or width. If you want to permanently remove detail from the edges of images then you can use the crop tool.

How to resize images:

1. Click the Edit button located on the left-hand side of the ribbon

2. Click the image you want to resize

3. Do one of the following:

  • To resize proportionally, grab and drag the corner of the image
  • To resize the height or width, grab the image at the mid-point between the corners and drag the image

How to crop an image:

1. Click the Edit button located on the left-hand side of the ribbon.

2. Double-click the image you want to crop.

3. On the Format context tab, in the Size and positions group, click Crop

4. To crop the image, grab the edge of it and drag towards the center of the image
