Bookmarks added in Apple's Preview application are specific to the Preview application. Bookmarks added from Preview will not be visible in either Adobe products, Nitro PDF Pro for MacOS, Nitro PDF Pro Essentials, or most other PDF applications.
Both Nitro PDF Pro and Nitro PDF Pro Essentials will allow you to add and delete Bookmarks in your documents. However, Nitro PDF Pro for MacOS has the advanced capability to enable you to edit the names of the bookmarks added. Bookmarks added in Nitro PDF Pro and Nitro PDF Pro Essentials are visible in Preview, Adobe, and other PDF applications.
