How to troubleshoot a missing Nitro PDF Pro Outlook Add-in

If the Nitro PDF Pro Outlook add-in was intended to be installed but is missing, the following article provides troubleshooting help to correct the issue.

Steps to re-enable a missing Nitro PDF Pro Outlook add-in:

Step 1: Options. Within Microsoft Outlook, select "File", then "Options".

Step 2: Add-ins. On the "Outlook Options" dialogue box, select "Add-Ins" from the left-hand side navigation pane.

Step 3: Com Add-Ins. Select "COM Add-Ins" and press "Go" to see the list of Add-Ins:

Step 4: Validate. On the ensuing prompt, please ensure the Nitro PDF Pro Add-In is checked (and if not, put a checkmark in it):

Step 5: Disabled. If the Nitro PDF Pro Add-In is not on the list, return to the "Outlook Options" settings and select Disabled Items:

Step 6: Re-enable. Please check the Disabled Items list to see if Nitro PDF Pro is listed, and if it is, select Nitro PDF Pro, and press "Enable".

Steps to re-enable the Nitro PDF Pro Add-in for Outlook when disabled due to slow loading:

Microsoft does monitor load times for all Add-ins. Depending on your environment, Outlook may disable the Nitro PDF Pro Add-in if it takes longer than the threshold to launch. To re-enable an Add-in that has been disabled due to slow loading times, perform the following steps:

Step 1: Manage. Click "File", "Manage COM Add-ins":

Step 2: Monitoring. On the Slow and Disabled Add-ins dialog, select Nitro PDF Pro Outlook Addin and choose "Do not monitor this add-in for the next 30 days":
