How To Migrate Stamps from Adobe Acrobat to Nitro PDF Pro

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to transfer stamps from Adobe Acrobat into Nitro PDF Pro:

  • Copy Adobe stamps from the AppData folder (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\11.0\Stamps) to another location on your computer.

  • Launch Nitro PDF Pro ->> Review ->> Stamp ->> Manage Stamps ->> Create. Name the Stamp title and Browse to select the stamp. Once you’ve selected the Stamp, click OK. That stamp is now created and saved in Nitro PDF Pro. You will need to manually create each Stamp on your machine. There will be one PDF file for all the stamps named user_stamps.pdf and a corresponding user_stamps.cnf.

  • Go back to the new folder in that you copied all of your Adobe stamps (from Step 1). Copy and Paste both the CNF and PDF file for all of the stamps into the Nitro Stamps folder from the Appdata folder (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Nitro\PDF Pro\14).

(Note: Be sure to only copy and paste stamp files, as signature files also live in the AppData folder)

You can run a batch file to execute this command across all of your machines by pasting the user_stamps.pdf and user_stamps.cnf in the directory (C:\Users\%username% \AppData\Roaming\Nitro\PDF Pro\14\Stamps).
