About Nitro's Document Assistant

Nitro Workspace

Our Document Assistant feature allows our users to upload PDFs to Nitro Workspace, ask questions, and build content from it. 

Examples of what can be asked from our Document Assistant can be seen below:

  • Explain the key points in this contract to me in straightforward language
  • Rewrite this user guide as an FAQ
  • [In this French language car rental contract] Can I use a debit card to rent a car? Answer in English.

Smart Actions

Smart Actions are features suggested to you once a piece of text is selected in PDF viewer in the left panel. The following tools are presented in a contextual menu:

  • Copy: When clicked, the selected text is copied to the divide clipboard.

  • Summarize: When selected, the Document Assistant will analyze the selected text and display a detailed summary of the provided content.

  • Translate: When selected, the Document Assistant will display a list of supported languages, allowing you to choose the desired output language for your translation.

  • Once the language is selected, click on the right-arrow in the chatbox. The translated content will be displayed on the Document Assistant panel.

This feature is currently in beta but fully operational and ready to be used from within Nitro Workspace: https://app.gonitro.com.

If the Document Assistant is missing from your Nitro Workspace view, please contact your Nitro Global Admin to enable the feature for your organization.
